Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Server cocktails to customers and clean tables to ensure a pleasant atmosphere. Increase the revenue of the company by providing excellent service to customers.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Take orders and serve drinks to customers. Ensure hot beverages are hot and frozen beverages are frozen.
• Ring in all beverages according to standards set by Beverage department and collect proper money for these beverages.
• Clean and maintain station: empty ashtrays, remove trash, wipe tables, remove empty glasses, push in chairs, etc. Constantly pre-bus stations.
• Break bartenders when necessary.
• Know information regarding all Food & Beverage Outlets to have ability to inform guests when they ask.
• Know all drink prices.
• Complete end of shift checkout and paperwork according to preset standards.
• Verify guest is of legal drinking age when unsure.
• Claim tips received according to laws governing wage reporting.
• Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
• Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
• Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school education or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk, walk, or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance and sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision, color coordination, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or mover up to 30 pounds.
